About the Penthouse

Created in 2005 by multimedia engineer Peter Lehto. The initial idea for Piper's Penthouse was to offer videos of music festivals around South Africa. With the launch of videos featuring artist such as Twisted System, Pitch Hikers, Shift and Artifakt the idea quickly developed into a portal for South African psytrance artist to display their live sets filmed and edited by Peter.

In early 2008 Piper's Penthouse had a massive overhaul, making it web 2.0 friendly. Now the blog offers up-to-date news, reviews, videos, animation and multimedia.

To date, counting the video views from youtube, Piper's Penthouse has entertained over 100,000 people worldwide. These figures do not include the 3 years of free downloading that was generously sponsored by Charl Norman.
